Annual Stewardship Pledge/Tithe - Carmel Presbyterian
Stewardship Letter <<Click for a Copy>>
With the generous support of our members, Carmel Presbyterian Church has served as a refuge of hope and comfort for our congregation and our community for over 46 years. By combining our financial gifts with countless hours of volunteer time and prayers, we are able to serve Christ in South Charlotte.
We are not to dwell upon our riches, for God will provide for our needs – even for our enjoyment. Rather, we are instructed to be generous with what God has given us.
“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way, they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”
(1 Timothy 6:17-19)
This year the Stewardship Committee is asking for every family to commit by filling out a "Pledge Form" or completing the "On LIne" Form below in giving in order to support our many commitments for the various ministries and services. We are very aware of the troubled financial positions which many of our members are having.
Please see the form below to submit your 2010 pledge or ask for a hard copy to be sent to your home.If you would like to learn about other forms of giving using stocks, property, wills and trust to support the church, call or email the Stewardship Chair. Please be in prayer for Carmel and about your own response to God’s command to be generous. You may bring your pledge card with you on November 5th, or if you are unable to attend church on that day, you may place the pledge card in the collection plate, drop it by the church office or mail the pledge in the enclosed self-addressed envelope (please be sure to add postage). We ask that all pledges be returned to the church by November 6th.
If you would like any additional information regarding our church’s budget, our church’s ministries and any other information on how to make a pledge, Please contact our Elder Joey Godbold <<Click Here>>- Stewardship Chair.
